WHAT WE BELIEVE
We are a Confessional Church.
We hold the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as our confessional document. This document summarizes what we believe God's Word teaches about these important matters. All who join FBC are required to sustain the statement of faith. In sustaining this confession, each member helps to protect the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are a Covenental Church.
Following Jesus means in part being in a covenantal relationship with a community of believers, a local church. Our church covenant helps to clarify how we hope to live in our world. It gives shape to our lives together as God's people. Each of our members are committed to upholding our covenant by seeking to faithfully follow Christ in these ways.
We are a Committed Church.
Our church operates under a Constitution and By-laws. These documents define our doctrinal foundation, membership commitments, and leadership structure, and they outline the processes by which our congregation makes decisions under the guidance of our elders. Together, they help ensure a healthy, orderly, and biblically faithful church life.
